• Ana Julia Urrutia

    is the regional manager for the Diagnostic Imaging business group in PROMED, which is a leading company for the distribution of medical and industrial equipment in the region. Her division manages GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging for Central America. Since 2013 Ana Julia has open new markets like Guatemala, El Salvador and Cuba with a continuous growth in market share. Her focus in creating business solutions and being a consultant for healthcare facilities has created a new form of doing business, leading PROMED and her team to win several awards as a GE Healthcare distributor in Latin America. In 2007 after obtaining her MBA from INCAE Business School Ana Julia began working for GE Healthcare as Service Sales Manager for Central America, Ecuador and Peru, at that time she created a new strategy for selling maintenance contracts of radiology equipment in developing countries, this opened new business opportunities in many countries and she received the Rookie of the Year award for this program. In 2010 Ana Julia worked for FitnessLatam a regional company which distributes fitness and lifestyle equipment, she oversaw the expansion of the company and opened new markets in all Central America and Dominican Republic. She earned her bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, from Universidad Católica Santa Maria La Antigua in Panama.   • Andrea Cardona

    is founder and CEO of The Altitude Company, which focuses on corporate health, wellness and technology. She is the author of ‘Sin Límites, Everest’ (Limitless, Everest) and is an international speaker. Born in Guatemala, as a little girl, she often travelled through the Guatemalan countryside with her family. She also lived for three years in Lake Atitlan as a teenager. These experiences aroused her interest to explore the world. After obtaining a scholarship, Andrea was able to study economy for tourism in the Università degli Studi di Genova, in Italy. Upon graduation she started her professional life by working for a major hotel chain. However, she still dreamed about traveling the world, after saving money, she was able to backpack through Asia for 8 months. This journey took Andrea to Everest Base Camp for the first time and gave her the opportunity to start working as a tour operator for an adventure agency. She continued to travel around 60 different countries in 5 years. In November of 2007, Andrea climbed her first snowy mountain: Island Peak (20,460 feet). This experience inspired her to attempt reaching the highest peak in the world. This was not an easy task as only one in every three people that attempt the climb, are able to summit. She designed an intensive training schedule, taking her to climb 13 different snowy peak mountains and trekking for months, as preparation for the biggest challenge. On May 23, 2010, Andrea became the first woman in Central America and the Caribbean to have reached the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest (8,805 meters). This makes her part of an exclusive group of climbers, as only around 275 women have been able to summit Mount Everest. On September 22, 2012, Andrea became one of only 42 people in history to have completed the Adventurer’s Grand Slam, which challenges climbers to summit the tallest peak in every continent and to ski to the geographical North and South Poles. Upon doing this, she became the first Latin American to have achieved this milestone. She collaborates with Funsepa as an “Education Hero” and volunteers with La Alianza, a home for sexually abused teenagers.   • Antonio Saad

    is business solutions and quality assurance manager for Copa Airlines. In this position, Antonio was appointed to lead the Hub of the Future Strategy, a program that seeks to improve the competitiveness of the hub, by modernizing the passenger experience. He simultaneously serves as a member of the board of directors of Movin, an independent non-profit political organization, focusing on three main areas: citizen participation, institutionality, and transparency. Prior to this, Antonio was the information and communication technologies (ICT) director for the National Assembly of Panama and a consultant for the Global Center for ICT in Parliaments, a joint initiative of the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from the Latin University of Panama and a master´s degree in business administration (MBA) from Eada Business School, Barcelona, where he was elected President representing the class of 2012. He attended programs on strategy at Linköping University, Sweden, on leadership at the University of Bradford, UK, on disruptive innovation at New York University, United States and infrastructure in a market economy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, United States.   • Carolina Alvarez-Mathies

    is a Salvadoran-born, New York-based, arts professional currently serving as director of external affairs at Creative Time, a longtime philanthropist, and El Salvador’s ambassador on special mission for cultural affairs. In 2016, she joined Creative Time, the public-arts nonprofit working with artists to produce large-scale socially engaged projects. Carolina’s role includes full oversight of fundraising, marketing, PR, social media and communications initiatives — leading a department she personally launched to seamlessly integrate the organization’s development and communications strategies. Previously, she served as head of communications at El Museo del Barrio, New York City’s leading Latin American cultural institution. Carolina’s parallel passion, philanthropy, has been central to her life since childhood, with an emphasis on Latin America. Currently she serves on the board of directors of Y.ES Contemporary, dedicated to supporting and developing contemporary art in El Salvador and beyond. While New York is Carolina’s primary residence, she maintains close personal and professional ties to El Salvador. She is co-owner and head of business development at Ceres Estates, her family’s specialty coffee operation dating back to 1895. In addition, she sits on the board of InnoGen Capital, an El Salvador based Venture Capital Fund. In 2017, El Salvador appointed her as its ambassador on special mission for cultural affairs, with the dual goals of strengthening and promoting her country’s culture worldwide (especially among the millions of Salvadorans abroad) and raising the visibility of Salvadoran artists by creating new opportunities for exposure and dialogue around their work.   • Christian Fischer

    AKA Fish was born and raised in Guatemala, received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a Finance specialty at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, graduating in 2005. His five roles in life are: 1) Happy Husband, 2) Proud Father, 3) Passionate Entrepreneur, 4) Proud Guatemalan and 5) Hungry learner. His last entrepreneurship is Corporación Arium which is a group of companies specialized in full service distribution of mass consumptions products, it has become one of the largest distribution companies in the country in just 2 years, responsible for +900 employees, with the goal to become the best full-service distribution company in Latin America. Previous to his recent venture, Christian’s experience for 12 years included positions such as regional executive in P&G specializing in marketing and sales in developing countries, expert in distribution management and product development specialist for products that improve the lives of low income consumers; resulting in a vast knowledge of Latin and Central American markets.
    He has also been an active member of the board of directors of United Way Guatemala and was elected in 2018 as the vice president of the board, this entity focuses in uniting resources from various companies and voluntary individuals to maximize social impact in Guatemala, the core of such programs is ensuring correct development in early infancy.   • Christopher Haughey

    is founder and chief innovation officer of Tegu, an award-winning toy design, manufacturing and distribution company created to bring employment and prosperity to the country and people of Honduras. Chris runs Manufactura Tegu, the Company’s manufacturing operation in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He is the primary inventor listed on Tegu’s manufacturing-focused patents and has been an instrumental contributor to bringing Tegu’s unique line of magnetic wooden building blocks to market. Prior to starting Tegu, Chris was a consultant with the Los Angeles practice of The Boston Consulting Group, from 2004 to 2007. He was a missionary working with university students with Campus Crusade for Christ in Mexico City in 2002-2003. Chris is a Praxis Fellow (Christian entrepreneurship network) and an Agora Fellow (Latin American social entrepreneurship network), and he was a member of the founding classes of both accelerator programs. He serves on the board of directors of Inversiones La Paz, a Honduran family owned business with diverse investments and retail operations. Chris speaks Spanish and German fluently, loves sports and the outdoors and lives in the mountains above Tegucigalpa with his wife Cindy, their sons Corin and Callan and four labradors. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.   • David Bullón

    is a consultant and entrepreneur dedicated to integrating authentic leadership, exponential innovation and open governance into public service in Latin America. David left his role as director of innovation for the Costa Rican Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications in 2018, where he worked with allies across sectors to build capacities in the innovation ecosystem. Prior to joining in 2014, David was based in other government offices, leading the Costa Rican Ministry of Foreign Trade’s work on innovation and global value chains and facilitating the development of the South Sudanese Ministry of Commerce’s first private sector development plan. Prior to his time in government, David worked in the social sector managing impact evaluations of programs intended to stimulate entrepreneurship in Peru with innovations for poverty action, and advising microfinance institutions in India as a consultant with access development services. Prior to living in India, he managed product and process innovation projects for Black and Decker in various positions in the United States and Mexico. In 2012, David received the Accenture Public Service Innovation award and was selected as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. Is a member of the Costa Rica USA Foundation’s millennials committee, David has also been a member of the OECD´s Working Group on Technology and Innovation Policy and an advisor to the Presidential Council for Innovation and Human Talent. David earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, graduating summa cum laude from Messiah College, and later obtained a Master in Public Administration in international development from the Harvard Kennedy School. He lives with his wife Monica in Costa Rica, where he spends as much time as he can in nature.   • Juan Francisco de Sola

    is the chief executive officer of Unión de Exportadoras S.A. de C.V. (UNEX El Salvador), the largest green coffee exporter in El Salvador. As CEO, Juan Francisco is in charge of all commercial, industrial, financial and agricultural activities regarding the sourcing of cherry and parchment from 4,200 coffee farmers in all of El Salvador’s four major coffee producing areas, its transformation into green bean at the two major mills, and eventual sale and exportation to over 50 traders and roasters around the globe. He received an MBA INCAE Business School in Nicaragua on November 2014, graduating with honors. He completed university studies at the University of Virginia in the United States. He graduated with two bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Foreign Affairs, specializing in Latin America. In 2006, he began his professional career at Echostar Corporation (Dish Network) in Englewood, CO as a Programming Specialist for all “Dish Latino” programming packages, focusing on programming cost budgeting and contract negotiations for channel retransmission. Having moved back to his native El Salvador in late 2008, he begins working at CTE Telecom (Claro El Salvador/Claro Centro America) to oversee all “Claro TV” contract negotiations and product development decisions for all four Central American countries. In 2011, he gets promoted to Regional Manager, where he now oversees all product development for Claro’s fixed products. Amongst his major accomplishments during this period is taking part in the team that launched “Claro TV” in Costa Rica, and in helping Claro evolve its television platforms into high definition. In mid-2013, he decides to undertake new challenges by joining UNEX El Salvador as an operations manager, overseeing the technical department and the industrial department, until his eventual promotion to CEO in late 2015. He is a founding member of Fundación Salvadoreña para el Desarrollo Económico y Social (FUSADES), a prominent think tank in El Salvador, and a member of the board of directors of the Asociación de Beneficiadores y Exportadores de Café (ABECAFE), El Salvador’s Coffee Exporter union.   • Juan Pablo Mata

    is an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the food & beverages industry. Skilled in market planning, business planning, entrepreneurship, market analysis, and team leadership. Strong professional with an MBA focused in strategic management from University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School. Juan Pablo studied finance & conomics at Babson College where he graduated in 2008. After college, he joined Anheuser Busch InBev as a global management trainee in Brazil. There, he started his career as sales rep, sales supervisor, and sales manager in Sao Paulo. In 2012, Juan Pablo had the opportunity to manage the premium imported brands. In 2013, left ABI to do an MBA at the Wharton School of business in the University of Pennsylvania graduating in 2015. He worked at The Boston Consulting Group in Mexico as an associate during the summer in 2014. After graduating from Wharton, he joined CBC as the chief human resources officer heading the HR division with a headcount of more than 8,000 employees, 15 manufacturing plants, and 10 countries. As the CHRO he would design and execute the HR strategy. In September 2016, Juan Pablo became the chief strategy officer, supporting the executive president and ensuring a cohesive corporate strategy with both short term and long-term vision. At the same time heading the M&A activity for the group. In February of 2018 he assumed the role of CEO for CBC for Guatemala and Jamaica. He is currently launching a nutrition and health program to be certified by FOSHU; A project to put out a nourishing water called GROW, with the intent to address malnutrition – with different formulas for breast feeding mothers, newborn, first age. Juan Pablo is Guatemalan, married and a father of 3: Mikaela, Catalina, and Ivannia, he loves running marathons and playing golf.   • Lizzeth Villatoro

    is general manager of Banco Lafise Honduras since June 2017, the seventh largest bank in Honduras. Lawyer of profession from 2002 to 2010 Lizzeth became general council of HSBC Honduras Bank. Lizzeth was the legal director of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) from 2010 to 2011, she became partner of the legal firm Casco-Fortin, Cruz & Associates in 2012 to strengthen its regulatory, commercial, banking, project finance, litigation practice. Her experience in regulatory and commercial matters has led her to be the advisor for various local and multinational companies and institutions. She holds an LLM in Intellectual Property from Turín, Italy University and WIPO, a master’s degree in commercial law from Honduras School of Law, graduating summa cum laude, has completed postgraduate studies in international business law at Georgetown University Law Centre, Washington D.C., and an advanced management (AMP) from INCAE Business School.   • Lorena Arce

    is director of commercial and corporate banking and the leasing business unit at BAC Credomatic. Since she was only 21 years old until today, BAC has given her the opportunity to grow as a professional. She started as a personal account executive and became the first female telemarketing chief at BAC, in charge of leading the mass opening of checking accounts in the national market for the first time. Afterwards, she led the Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking Unit for 12 years, and became the first generation of the Central American BAC Leaders Program. Lorena was born in San Carlos and attended María Inmaculada School in Ciudad Quesada. When she was 17 years old, she moved to San José to start her University degree. Since she was 13 years old, she was very clear about her future and decided to major in economics. Lorena is an economist from Universidad Latina, and also holds an MBA from National University, Banca INCAE, PAP INCAE Business School. Lorena is a mother, wife, an analytical woman, a goal-setter who loves teamwork, who is sensitive, and a BAC leader who wants to continue growing and making her mark in her country and the rest of Central America.   • Luis Jose Kafie

    is an active member of the board of directors of Grupo Luz y Fuerza (GLF), a Central American independent power producer with over 750 MW of installed capacity. The group has operations in Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and Colombia and is comprised of more than 1,000 team members operating 15 power plants. Luis José has more than 16 years of experience in the energy industry, directly involved in the development, financing, construction and operation of greenfield energy projects, ranging from hydro, solar, wind and thermal electric power plants. He has a strong commitment with corporate social responsibility, environmental conservation, sustainability, safety and operational excellence. He graduated from Babson College, with a degree in business administration and concentrations on entrepreneurship, finance and real estate. He lives in Honduras with his wife, three daughters and son. He enjoys running and outdoor activities.   • María Kaltschmitt

    co-founded Zen Interactive Media almost six years ago with the vision of creating a new, dynamic and boutique digital agency in Guatemala. At Zen, María is leading the team to differentiate the agency by giving clients a more personalized service tailored to digital industry trends. María has several years of experience in the advertising and digital industry in Guatemala and has worked with lists of clients, including several multinational companies and local business conglomerates. She also has different endeavors in the digital communication sector. After graduating in 2006 with a B.A. in advertising from Southern Methodist University, she also went for a specialization program in marketing and sales management from San Francisco University, concluding with honors. In 2015 she finished her master’s degree in corporate communication at IE Business School in Spain. In 2015 she imported “Creative Mornings” to Guatemala and since then she co-organizes these inspiring monthly lectures. Maria is the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards including, but not limited to, the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program from Georgetown University, selected as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum and was named one of Guatemala’s top 10 Women Entrepreneurs in 2015 by Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization. She currently is a Faculty Professor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín and was elected as the youngest women board member of FUNDESA where she participates in some of its commissions and projects for the social and economic development of Guatemala, and recently she was certified as a Climate Change Leader.   • María Luisa Romero

    María Luisa Romero is a human rights advocate who served as minister of government and vice- minister of government of the Republic of Panama (January 2017-April 2018; July 2014-January 2017). In the Ministry of Government María Luisa oversaw issues related to justice, governance, civil protection, refugees and indigenous peoples. She implemented reforms to make Panama’s prison system more humane and secure, establishing by law a civil career in the prison service and improving rehabilitation programs for persons deprived of liberty. Before entering public service, María Luisa worked as an independent human rights consultant (2013-2014); as a litigator in Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York City, where she advised clients with respect to regulatory, anti-corruption and human rights matters (2010-2013); and as an attorney at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in Costa Rica (2008-2009). María Luisa started her human rights field work as a student member and later as a pro bono contributor to the International Human Rights Clinic of Harvard Law School (2006-2008, 2010- 2012). María Luisa also worked at the Embassy of Panama in the United States, interned at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and has collaborated with civil society in Panama on various human rights matters. She has contributed to several publications regarding human rights investigations. María Luisa earned her juris doctor degree, graduating cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2008, and her bachelor’s degree in government, graduating magna cum laude, from Harvard College in 2004. María Luisa sits on the board of directors of Cable & Wireless Panama and Fundación Libertad Ciudadana, the local chapter of Transparency International in Panama. She was elected as independent expert for the United Nations Subcommittee for the Prevention of Torture for the 2019-2022 period. She is married to José Ricardo Coleman Tió, with whom she has two children, José Ricardo and Victoria Ivana.   • Mitzi Alfaro

    is the founder of MAS Solutions, an independent consulting firm that specializes in financial planning and strategic advisory focusing on small and medium size companies. In 2016, she started the set up and management of a single-family office, advising them in establishing governance mechanisms, tax and estate planning, philanthropic initiatives, and the evaluation of new business opportunities. That same year, Mitzi executed the first nationally broadcasted edition of the now-annual Contest for Education and Excellence, where standardized testing in math, science, and languages was provided to several public schools in Panama. In 2013, she left her position as assistant vice president for treasury and investment in Banco General, after over 15 years working on the banking sector. During 2007, Mitzi lead the treasury and financial institution fronts during the merger of Banco General and Banco Continental, the two largest Panamanian banks at the time. She currently serves as an International Finance Corporation board nominee for Banco la Hipotecaria and a board member for Grupo Power Club fitnesss gyms. Mitzi is a board member in various nonprofit organizations such as Pro Niñez, Fundación para la Promoción de la Excelencia Educativa, and Fundación Escuela San Pedro Nolasco all in which the quality of education is promoted through several initiatives. Mitzi was valedictorian from INCAE EMBA class of 2009 and earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and international business graduating magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2002. A proud mother of three children, Alessandra, Miguel, and Diego, Mitzi enjoys spending time with her family, serving at her church, running, reading and working on social projects involving children that will leave a positive footprint in remote communities. She is also a member of the Comité Nacional de INCAE, the Georgetown Alumni Association and associate member of Women Corporate Directors.   • Pedro Beirute

    is CEO of Costa Rica Trade Promotion Authority PROCOMER. This government agency is responsible for country exports and free trade zones. Pedro also serves as president of Costa Rica Country Brand and as president of the Latin America Trade Promotion Agencies Council. He leads Costa Rica country brand strategy to attract tourists, investors and buyers. During the last four years, PROCOMER has been awarded as the “Best Trade Promotion Organization in the World” by International Trade Centre, and Costa Rica was ranked the “happiest country on earth” by Happy Planet Index.
    Prior to his public service, Pedro worked 15 years for Intel Corp, progressing from finance clerk in Costa Rica to chief of staff of Intel Global Head of Sales, in Silicon Valley. He became the latin-american with the highest position on Intel global organization chart. Pedro lived in Madrid, London, México and San Francisco before returning to his native Costa Rica to join the public service.
    Pedro has 4 children and has completed 7 Ironman triathlons. Pedro is a Fellow of the fourteenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

  • Ricardo Fasquelle

    is the CEO and president of SER Chumbagua, part of a regional operation dedicated to the production of sugar, molasses, renewable energy, and rum in Central America. Ricardo is also president of Energía Chumbagua, board member of the Honduran Sugar Producers Association (APAH), its Corporate Social Responsibility foundation (FUNAZUCAR), and Honduras Sugar Estates, S. A. de C. V. Ricardo has accrued experience with Grupo Pellas and Dole Food Company operations in Honduras and Guatemala in several key fields, such as agricultural operations, industrial sales, logistics, fruit packaging materials, corporate social responsibility, and finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s in business administration from The Catholic University of Honduras, a master’s in commercial management and marketing from Carlos III of Madrid University, and a master’s in international agribusiness management from INCAE Business School.   • Rodrigo Moran

    is a Salvadoran social entrepreneur and international development professional, passionate about the intersection of social impact, innovation and technology. He currently serves as technology and innovation liaison for CREA Consultores, the first Creative Associates International subsidiary in Central America, with the mission of catalyzing local Central American innovations to a regional and global scale. Prior to this, Rodrigo lived in the United States for 3 years, where he attended Brandeis University’s Heller School for social policy and management as a Fulbright scholar to complete his master of arts in sustainable international development (Waltham, Massachusetts) and first joined Creative Associates International as technology for communities in transition liaison (2016) working in project design and implementation focusing on the Central American region, supporting technology for development initiatives in Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and the Eastern Caribbean. Rodrigo’s passion for social innovation started when he co-founded the Youth Against Violence Movement of El Salvador, a group advocating for the adoption of youth violence prevention policies at a local and national level. His work as coordinator of the YAV movement in El Salvador, and subsequent role as a signator in the YAV movement-Central America led him to being appointed as the first executive director of the Municipal Youth Institute of the City of San Salvador, where he was in charge of designing the administrative, financial and programmatic structure of the first decentralized municipal authority focusing on youth development, in the City of San Salvador. During his service with the City, he implemented projects that emphasized technology, creativity and entrepreneurship as a tool for positive youth development. Rodrigo is a member of global networks such as the American Council of Young Political Leaders, One Young World’s Peace Ambassadors program, the Millennial Trains Project and the Fulbright program.   • Rodrigo Tona

    leads Grupo TERMO, a Flexible Packaging Supplier and Plastic Recycler based out of El Salvador, with over 2,000 employees and operations in Central and North America and South-East Asia. He has a BS in industrial engineering and a master’s in science of management. Grupo TERMO has been awarded Largest Plastics Industry Exporter for four consecutive years 18,17,16 and 15) by the ASI (Industrial Association of El Salvador), it ranks # 18 Great Place to Work in Central America (for companies of over 1,000 employees). The group has now become the largest plastic recycler in Central America, recycling over 30 million pounds per year and has set very aggressive sustainability goals, including becoming the first Central American Company in the Packaging Sector to be Carbon Positive and Zero Waste to Landfill by 2020. Rodrigo enjoys traveling and food! A perfect combination that allows for business and pleasure trips to be more enjoyable. He has traveled the Americas, Europe and Asia, understanding global customer’s needs and global packaging manufacturing and distribution capabilities. He enjoys learning about other cultures, customs and traditions and how flexible packaging and recycling plays an important role in the progress of many evolving economies. Rodrigo is an active member of YPO El Salvador, participates in academic and business board of governors and has co-created ALMA, an entrepreneurial venture that supports young women and men in their university studies, while creating and selling fashion items. Rodrigo lives in El Salvador, Central America and is happily married, has 3 wonderful boys, whom he loves spending quality time with. Some of his favorite hobbies are reading, playing tennis, running and spending the weekends on outdoor activities with family and friends. Rodrigo is a Fellow of the fourteenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

  • Vivian Liberman

    is a partner of BLP, a Central American law firm, in which she coheads the Banking and Finance practice. Vivian is as partner at BLP since 2008. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as an international associate for Greenberg Traurig in New York. Vivian has been widely recognized by world renown publications and guides such as Latin Lawyer, where she is distinguished as Inspiring Women in Law and has been named Leading Lawyer since 2009; Chambers & Partners qualifies her as a Recommended Attorney and has given her the Leading Individual distinction since 2010; likewise, IFLR has named her Leading Lawyer since 2009. At BLP, besides being co-director of the Banking and Finance Practice, Vivian oversees the sustainability efforts of the law firm. She is president of the BLP Foundation, founder and director of the BLP Gender Equality Commission, the BLP Environmental Commission and the BLP LGBTI Commission. Vivian is a founding member of the Lawyers Council for Civil and Economic Rights in the Americas and of the Steering Committee of Women in the Profession (WIP) of the Vance Center in New York since 2016, and she is also founder and coordinator of the WIP chapter in Costa Rica. Vivian serves as a board member for Asociación Amigos del Aprendizaje and Asociación Empresarial para el Desarrollo. She earned her Licentiate in Law degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the Universidad de Costa Rica and has an LLM degree from Harvard University School of Law. Vivian is a Fellow of the fourteenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
