Alan Tenenbaum

Alan Tenenbaum is a motivational writer and speaker with the mission of inspiring and touching as many lives as possible, so that they see life and problems with a positive attitude. Alan would’ve never chosen to do this, but an accident he suffered in 2008 changed his plans. Alan is also the marketing director of TNBM Productions, an agency that specializes in producing advertising jingles. Before being on a wheelchair with a high-level spinal cord injury, he worked as a marketer and publicist for various companies and agencies. In 2014, Alan published his first novel; En la silla de Morfeo, which was the parting point to everything he is doing nowadays. To this day, Alan has published two novels and five children’s books, and plans to continue writing stories for kids to transmit positive messages for them. Along with his wife, Alan created Palante Guate in 2019, an initiative to improve wheelchair accessibility in establishments and streets of their home country, Guatemala. Alan has achieved many recognitions, like Guatemaltecos Ilustres in 2016, but what he values even more are the testimonials he receives (through his webpage, social media and in person) from people who, after reading his books or listening to his conferences, have decided to apply his ¡teikirizi & palante! life philosophy. Alan earned his bachelors degree in marketing from the University of Colorado. He is a Fellow of the 16th class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a proud member of the Aspen Global Leadership Program.
