Fellows - Alfredo Volio

Alfredo Volio is managing director of Portafolio Inmobiliario, a real estate development and asset management company specializing in residental, retail, corporate, and industrial developments. Prior to joining Portafolio Inmobiliario, Alfredo worked for Securitas, Amazon, and Genesis Developers. Alfredo is a true believer that through the development of projects and the creation of memorable experiences in each of them, Portafolio Inmobiliario will be able to serve as a catalyst to transforms cities into sustainable urban communities that provoke integration, pride, and sense of belonging. Alfredo currently serves as a member of the board of directors in Jovenes por Costa Rica, El Observador CR, and Texas Tech University – Costa Rica. Alfredo also serves as the president of the Real Estate Development Committee of the Costa Rican Construction Chamber. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Texas A&M University at College Station, TX, and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. Alfredo is married to Marianne, and they have two boys: Alfredo and Eduardo. Alfredo is a Fellow of the sixteenth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative Fellowship Program and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
