Diógenes Galvan


Diógenes Galván is the founder of Heroes c3, a scientific project of collective improvement to enhance the quality of life in Colon, Panama for its citizens, based on human development. He is a naval engineer who has specialized in maritime transportation. He has also been a senior pilot for the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) since 1998. He is the President of APEDE Colón (Panamanian Association of Business Executives) and an active member of APOM (Panamanian Association of Marine Officers). Diógenes is in charge of vessel navigation and security while the ships cross the Canal and until they depart from Panama waters. He has an M.B.A., a master’s in Project Management, and a master’s in Planning and Evolution of Investment. He is also certified in Leadership and Effective Communication. Mr. Galván is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Central America Leadership Initiative and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is married and is father of Alexie, Sydney, and Diollenis.
