Eduardo Tabush

A serial entrepreneur, during the last 20 years he has founded or run all sorts of businesses in Guatemala, El Salvador, and online: from 1hr photo stores, to computer superstores, to wine distribution and retail. Today he has shifted his entrepreneurial interests towards online training through OSTraining.com, the #1 online training company for open source content management systems (CMS’s) like WordPress.

Eddie’s greatest passion is social housing. He is proud of his work with Habitat for Humanity where he started in Guatemala in 2000. Today. the Guatemalan program is serving the 100,000th family with a decent home. In 2008, because of the success of Habitat Guatemala, Eddie was invited to serve on the international board of directors for Habitat for Humanity International which oversees the program in the whole world. He served as board treasurer, chair of the Audit Committee, and chair of the Latin American Committee.

In 2016 he was named president of the Guatemalan equivalent of the Federal Housing Administration – – a platform he uses to advocate for housing for the poor. In 2017, as part of his CALI-AGLN project, Eddie started his most ambitious project to date: to design and develop, write the bill and pass the law to create a housing provident fund that will help millions of Guatemalans save and obtain guaranteed access to financing for housing.

He serves as treasurer of the Union Church of Guatemala. He studied entrepreneurship and marketing at Babson College. He lives in Guatemala City with his wife Amanda and their children, Nina and Jacob.
